Financial Wellbeing
Money is the cause of much stress for people now more than ever, become informed about how our monetary system works.
"Our relationship with money is so troubled and so upsetting." Lynne Twist
"We actually swim in a set of uneaxmined, unconscious beliefs and we look out into the world and we just fear that there is not enough to go around, without any evidence really, and then we make that true."
"There's not enough time, there's not enough money, there's not enough sleep -- so it's a constant battle with there's not enough -- we don't have enough, it's not enough, I'm not enough -- and that is a mindset, it is an unconscious unexamined mindset that creates distorted behaviours that are inconsistent with who we are.
"These cultural lies on which our relationship with money rests and is rooted, is really governed almost completely by the most insidious and tragic lie which I believe is the lie of scarcity." Lynne Twist
The Money Fix
Just where does that dollar in your pocket originate? The answer is that all money enters the economy as bank debt. So what? www.themoneyfix.org

Who do you hope to reach with this film? Who is your audience?
"I suppose I was aiming this film at what has been termed "Cultural Creatives." The film requires that people have open hearts and minds. I have been really surprised by who has reacted well and who hasn't. Money is one of those things that stirs up a lot of emotions in people, and for some, finding out how the whole monetary system is really nothing more than a poorly designed game, really shakes their foundations...I think a lot of people are much more open to hearing this news now that the economy is in crisis."
Money as Debt
Paul Grignon's 47-minute animated presentation of "Money as Debt" tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what money is and how it is being created.
"Each of us experiences a lifelong tug-of-war between our money interests and the calling of our soul.
When we enter the domain of money, there often seems to be a disconnect from the soulful person we have known ourselves to be. It is as if we are suddenly transported to a different playing field where all the rules have changed. In the grip of money, those wonderful qualities of soul seem to be less available. We become smaller. We scramble or race to “get what’s ours.” We often grow selfish, greedy, petty, fearful, or controlling, or sometimes confused, conflicted or guilty."
"This is the right book at the right time. Lynne Twist provides a unique, intelligent, and soul-centered look at how we can release the burden of having or not having money. She brings inspiration and possibility to an area of life that most of us believe is unchangeable. To anyone who wants to transform their lives and the world, I give this book my highest recommendation.”
